Head of Finance & Business Partnering

Exciting opportunity for a commercially focused Finance professional to join a leading Irish retailer in Dublin City Centre as Head of Finance and Business Partnering.

As the successful applicant you will lead the finance team and partner with key commercial functions to drive better decision making and maximizing commercial return.

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as a cross departmental business partner utilising financial insights and analysis to drive better decision making
• Support evaluation, modelling, return calculation and decision making on CAPEX, marketing/digital investments and pricing
• Manage and mentor the finance team and ensure they are focused on value-add business partnering
• Prepare reports for leadership and provide commentary of monthly management accounts and business performance.
• Manage treasury and cashflow including short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting
• Lead the annual Budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Build and maintain strong systems of internal financial controls
• Co-ordinate the statutory audit and ensure tax compliance

About you:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 7+ years PQE
• Experience working in a finance leadership role within Retail/FMCG/Hospitality
• Strong commercial acumen and experienced at building relationships across a business
• Experience in designing, building, and using dashboards and KPI's
