Legal Program Manager

We are looking for a Legal Projects Manager in EMEA with experience in Outside Counsel Management (in EMEA); Vendor Management; Law Firm Pricing; and Project Management for a 12-month engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Support the Legal Operations Manager, EMEA Lead with:

• Running a law firm panel process from start to finish;
• Legal market analysis and benchmarking to support (and agree) rate negotiations
• with law firms;
• Drafting process documents, training decks and rolling out training to EMEA Legal Teams re mandatory operational processes;
• Operationalising negotiated value-adds into BAU processes;
• Spend management, data tracking and leadership reporting initiatives;
• Ad hoc assistance for the Legal Operations Manager, EMEA with supporting key stakeholder requirements (EMEA Legal, Finance, Comms).

Skills and experience:

Essential:

• Prior experience at both an in-house legal department and a law firm in region
• Experience working in Legal Pricing / Sourcing
• Creating and running panel processes
• Legal pricing experience specifically knowledge of AFAs and experience in negotiating AFAs
• Experience in developing/implementing solutions or operational improvements
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently, be organized, and manage one's time.
• Strong ability to create relationships with XFN teams.
• Technologically savvy and experienced with Google and Microsoft suites

Preferred:

• PMP or similar certification
• Prior experience at a tech company
• Familiarity with PERSUIT (or similar online RFP software)
• Familiarity with eBilling software
• Familiarity with Tableau and other dashboarding tools
