We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in equipment automation and validation, with a specific focus on packaging machinery, to join a leading organisation in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and validating automated packaging equipment to support production processes. This is a hands-on role, requiring direct interaction with equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Commission, troubleshoot, debug, and validate automated packaging equipment used in manufacturing.
- Provide technical support and expertise for packaging automation systems, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure that all packaging equipment meets validation protocols, industry standards, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve packaging processes and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address packaging equipment malfunctions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including validation reports, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides for packaging systems.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the performance and reliability of packaging machinery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in equipment automation with a focus on packaging machinery, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry.
- Hands-on expertise in validating and troubleshooting packaging equipment.
- Familiarity with Rockwell PLCs and similar automation systems is highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on preparing thorough technical documentation.
- A proactive approach to ensuring packaging equipment functionality and operational excellence.
