Job Title: Junior Purchasing Administrator
Location: Dublin 15 (onsite)
Job Summary:
This company in the FMCG industry are seeking a Junior Administrator to join our purchasing team. In this role, you will provide support to the purchasing department by assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining supplier relationships, and updating databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing purchase orders, processing requisitions, and tracking orders.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update databases with supplier information, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, follow up on deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies in orders or invoices.
- Ensure all purchasing documentation is accurate and up-to-date, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the inventory team to avoid shortages and overstock.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding purchasing activities, order status, and delivery times.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and organizing purchasing records.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a purchasing or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with purchasing software is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proactive and able to resolve issues related to order discrepancies, delivery delays, or supplier performance.
