About the Role:
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering a range of audit and accounting services to a diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with senior team members, gaining exposure to challenging and rewarding assignments. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the planning and execution of audit engagements.
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with Irish GAAP.
- Performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks for clients.
- Conducting reconciliations and analysis of financial data.
- Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships.
- Contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the team.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
Essential Requirements:
Previous Irish accounting experience is essential.
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or similar).
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within an Irish accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of Irish GAAP.
- Excellent technical accounting skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated and eager to learn.
