A global investment bank are looking to hire a Senior Analyst for their Financial Reporting team in Dublin that will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the financial reporting for European entities. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in financial reporting, accounting processes, and cross-functional collaboration within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, recharges, and tax transfer pricing, in line with the month-end close schedule
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, support schedules, and investigate variances for accurate financial reporting
- Draft year-end financial statements and work closely with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits
- Oversee treasury-related tasks including bank account reconciliation, tracking, and investigating payments and receipts
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, collaborate on projects, and support process documentation and improvements as needed
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of UK/Irish GAAP, IFRS, and financial statement preparation
- Qualified accountants (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and have at least two years of post-qualification experience
- High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support financial analysis and reporting
- Strong numerical ability with keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to liaise with finance teams across various locations and maintain strong working relationships
