Senior Buyer

This role is hybrid working, minimun 3 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish partnerships with suppliers to meet short- and long-term business needs.
- Negotiate terms with new suppliers and enhance current agreements.
- Manage subcontractors and assess risks.
- Coordinate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to set up new suppliers.
- Oversee purchasing practices and ensure alignment across departments.
What you will do:
- Define and implement supply chain strategy for new products.
- Source and approve suppliers as per strategy.
- Achieve cost reduction goals and optimize inventory.
- Ensure timely material delivery to meet demand.
- Address supplier issues and drive supply chain improvements.
- Track supplier financial health to mitigate risks.
Key Skills:
- Extensive supply chain experience, ideally in electronics or consumer goods.
- Expertise in managing global supplier relationships and contract manufacturing.
- Proven ability to negotiate, reduce costs, and drive improvements.
- Experience presenting and influencing at senior levels.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering or related field with procurement experience.
- Knowledge of regulated environments and continuous improvement processes.
- Preferred certifications: MCIPS, APICS, or a Master's in Supply Chain.
