We are looking for Senior Maintenance and Engineering Managers! Morgan McKinley is excited to be partnering with a Manufacturing Leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry based in North Dublin.
The successful candidate will have a responsibility for a large team in a regulated manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates who are experienced technically but also experienced in managing Stakeholder's and seeing projects from start to finish. This is the ideal role for a strong people leader with an electrical, mechanical or mechatronic background.
- Oversee the maintenance and availability of manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime.
- Utilise CMMS to plan and track maintenance, optimising operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement within the technical support team.
- Drive best practices in spare parts management to reduce disruptions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and enhance processes.
- Lead or support continuous improvement (CI) and cost-saving maintenance initiatives.
- Provide technical input on maintenance-related quality incidents and improve Right First Time (RFT) performance.
- Ensure effective communication, performance management, and recognition within the team.
- Standardise maintenance processes and implement improvements through structured change management.
- Keep senior management informed on maintenance performance and key metrics.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and adaptability to align with evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics); additional Mechatronics, Automation, or Business/Management qualification is a plus.
- 5+ years in GMP manufacturing with technical team leadership.
- Strong communicator, influencer, and team developer with a proactive approach.
