Long-Term Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the client side team on a large-scale capital improvement project based in Dublin. This is a long-term contract role requiring a highly skilled professional to oversee cost management, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
- Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of construction work.
- Negotiate contracts, manage procurement processes, and administer contractual agreements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Provide accurate financial reporting and risk analysis.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on large-scale capital improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction standards and regulations.
- Proven expertise in contract management (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CostX, Excel, or similar).
