Our tech client, a leading provider in data storage solutions, are looking for a Senior Statutory Accountant to join them initially on a 6-month contract.
This role plays a key part in managing statutory compliance and driving efficiency across 30+ entities worldwide.
With offices based in Dun Laoghaire, they are operating with a hybrid working model and offering a competitive salary.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with service providers to prepare statutory accounts under local GAAP for EMEA, APJ, and LATAM entities.
- Manage year-end statutory audits from planning to completion.
- Work closely with the tax and legal teams to ensure timely corporate tax filings and governance compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements for statutory reporting.
- Report KPIs and key deliverables to stakeholders.
- Support international GL teams with month/quarter-end variance analysis.
- Handle ad hoc projects and compliance requirements as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- ACCA, ACA, or CIMA with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong grasp of US GAAP, local statutory accounting principles, and experience with US GAAP to IFRS/local GAAP conversions.
- Proficiency in Excel, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
- Multinational experience preferred
- Familiarity with NetSuite or SAP ERP is a plus.
