Role:
Support serialisation data operational challenges affecting our sites. Lead effort to analyse and mitigate serialised data challenges. Support initiatives to develop a digitization strategy to enable faster and effective decision-making. Provides SME in serialisation data management, support data work stream for various serialisation implementations, as well as provide ongoing continuous improvement support to sustain the serialisation regulatory focused on US / EU. Provide training for on-boarding new employees as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain serialisation operations workstream.
- Assure overall serialisation transactional data operations objectives are achieved (e.g., right first time).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across functional areas (e.g., Logistics, O2C, Master Data and Packaging for internal / external, Quality, IT).
- Responsible for assisting in maintaining technical solutions to ensure timely compliance with all serialised market transaction requirements.
- Provides requirements, from markets, pilots, and corrective action to IT for new capabilities and ensures requirements have been met.
- Takes ownership of the Business Process documentation (i.e., changes to the process must be approved by the owner)
- Takes ownership of and leads coordination of data management, clean up and standardisation capabilities.
- Manage daily serialisation data operational issues for commercial products.
- Respond to serialised transactional data exception by investigating trading partner requests, determining root cause and mitigate where necessary; follow up by responding to requestor.
- Sets up required master data attributes such as GS1 Prefix, GLN numbers, GTINs, EAN# & NHRN#s, EMVS attributes & shares with SC partners as required, to support regulatory requirements.
- Analyses and addresses data transfer issues across different systems.
- Develops, manages reports to monitor accuracy and timeliness of data flow across multiple systems.
- Perform Technical assessments resulting from a failed verification or Level 5 Alert arising from a Quality event.
- Support serial number decommissioning requests following procedural controls.
Required Competencies:
- Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated flexibility and capability of managing multiple assignments, excellent oral and written communication skills, and computer competence.
- Self-direction with the ability to take initiative and manage deadlines and stakeholders is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organised and able to prioritise tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
Required Qualifications/ Experience:
- BA or BS degree in Business, supply chain management or equivalent
- 5 - 7 years total business experience, pharmaceutical, serialisation and/or supply chain logistics, Order to Cash experience with at least 2 yrs. in data or data operation related area.
- Solid understanding of key relationships, dependencies, and interfaces among business units, IT, and external partners.
- Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems and serialisation systems like SAP ATTP, Trace Link etc.
