Cloud Data Engineer, 12 months contract

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance and actuarial teams to identify business problems and design cloud-based architectural solutions.

• Analyze end-to-end business processes to implement automation using new technologies.

• Design and develop scalable data platforms, focusing on automated data ingestion and integration pipelines.

• Resolve complex operational issues across AWS cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring effective interaction with multiple services and external applications.

Skills Reqd.

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, working with both structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Proficient in managing large-scale infrastructure across various cloud platforms.
• Experienced in designing data management solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data hubs.
• Skilled in implementing ETL, data streaming, and analytics solutions using technologies like PySpark and Kafka.
• Proficient in Chinese and English.
