Contract IT Manager

Job duties:

• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the IT infrastructure work stream, ensuring compliance with HASLA guidelines and ITIL methodology, while coordinating with partners for effective service delivery.
• Collaboration and Relationship Management: Act as a liaison between business departments and partners to understand IT service needs and ensure support for operations and customer requirements.
• Process Development: Create and maintain guidelines and procedures for the operation of data centers, hardware, mobile devices, virtual environments, and security systems.
• Security Compliance and Risk Assessment: Work with the Information Security Officer to ensure compliance with security standards and lead risk assessment programs to support audits.
• Disaster Recovery and Communication: Prepare and test disaster recovery plans for critical systems, and effectively communicate progress, escalating issues and risks to management and users.

Requirments:

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years in outsourcing vendor management with expertise in installation, support, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across various technologies.
• Proficient in multiple IT disciplines, including IT Service Management, IT Operations, Systems Integration, and Applications Development.
• Hands-on experience with at least three IT foundation technologies such as IBM AS400, Microsoft Server products, Red Hat Linux, VMware, and network systems.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., CobiT, ISO27001, ITIL) and familiarity with Hong Kong insurance regulations.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.
