Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Produce timely management reports and performance metrics for decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors, ensuring timely payment and adherence to contracts.
- Negotiate terms and monitor the performance of service providers.
- Coordinate and assist external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Provide necessary financial data and explanations as required.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance and accounting staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of financial management experience, preferably within a family office or private wealth environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively.
