With ongoing demands for internal projects, they are currently recruiting for individuals with experience to management of material cost activities and development competitive end to end sourcing strategies for the achievement of margin retention.
About The Role
As a Procurement Cost Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation of costed BOM, cost analysis, and price negotiations with vendors and suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all material cost activities (i.e. Bill of Material, BOM structuring, cost analysis, & price negotiation) for Mechanical, Plastic, Cable Assembly, PCB, Packaging, and Electronic Components, etc
- Manage the full cycle of the bidding process and develop re-pricing strategies for key accounts
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties for the fulfilment of project deliverables
- Conduct analysis on material cost for the identification of market trends and utilise intel and data to manage key account's requests
- Drive material margin retention for the achievement of target
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or any other relevant disciplines of Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of material cost/ commodity management experience, preferably all of which is obtained within the industry of Electronics Manufacturing
- Knowledgeable in the sourcing of Mechanical, Plastic, Cable Assembly, PCB, Packaging, and Electronic Components is required
- Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for the title of Material Cost Solutions Analyst
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
