Develop strategies to maximize business potential, partnerships, and distribution in the APAC territory.
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.
Collaborate closely with the Europe HQ on supporting large projects, new partners, and corporate program roll-outs.
Partner with independent sales representatives and distributors across the regions to grow and develop existing accounts.
Identify prospective customers using established lead methods and research sources to determine their potential.
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective partners and accounts.
Ensure expedited resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Analyze the territory/market's potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization.
Stay up-to-date with product, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through research and consultation with marketing and technical service areas.
Manage the P&L for APAC territories to maintain profitability.
Act as the main representative at trade shows and conventions, follow up with new contacts.
Ensure the brand's presence is aligned with the company's overall standards, liaising with internal functions to deliver product, sales tools, and service as required.
Manage the internal Hong Kong team (Sales & Customer Service) to continuously grow, develop, and execute the service to the company's standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in managerial sales or business management environment.
Experience with the Asia Pacific market is required.
Highly effective communication skills - oral, written, and in group settings.
Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
Strong follow-up and interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
Ability to work independently and self-motivated to meet/exceed goals.
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills to coordinate support functions in delivering the highest quality and service to clients.
