Operations Associate - Boutique Asset Manager

A growing boutique asset manager in Hong Kong is seeking a hands-on Operations Associate to support the Head of Operations and contribute to the firm's expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily investment operations, periodic reporting, and general administrative functions.
• Oversee timely and accurate trade processing, reconciliations, corporate actions, and portfolio valuations.
• Maintain the relationship with the outsourced middle and back-office service provider.
• Liaise with external counterparties and service providers.
• Assist with client onboarding and implementation of new funds/accounts.
• Support regulatory compliance matters.
• Help with investor relations and fund marketing activities, including due diligence requests and marketing documents.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

What We Look For:

• University graduate (Business or Finance major preferred).
• Practical, proactive, and "hands-on" mindset with a keen interest in being involved across all aspects of operations.
• Prior experience in asset management, professional services, or the funds industry is an advantage.
• Exposure to compliance, risk management, regulatory reporting, or investor queries is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus).
• Proficient in operational and financial software/tools.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative, able to multi-task, and committed to long-term growth with the firm.
