As an IT Business Operations Analyst for our client, you'll be an integral part of the IOPS IT Business Operations team, supporting vital services such as procurement, license management, budgeting, resource management, and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
On a typical day, you'll focus on a variety of activities, including but not limited to:
- IT Business Management Support: Apply functional knowledge of IT Business Management, including asset management and business operations, to contribute to ongoing IT initiatives and processes under guidance.
- Procurement Management: Oversee and manage procurement activities for the IOPS IT group as needed, ensuring efficient and streamlined processes.
- Reporting and Data Analysis: Compile and present reports for procurement, vendor management, project management, and operations teams, as required.
- Software License Management: Gather data on software licenses within IOPS IT and ensure all information is accurately maintained in the Software Licensing portal.
- Database Accuracy: Manage the license management database, collaborating with IT personnel to ensure data accuracy, coordinating procurement activities, and handling renewals as necessary.
- Process Execution and Stakeholder Communication: Execute tasks aligned with established processes and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and progress tracking.
- Resource Management Tool Support: Offer system administration support for the internal Resource Management Tool, maintaining data integrity and generating relevant reports.
- Data Integrity and Reporting: Ensure resource data accuracy and assist Resource and Project Managers in developing reports and tracking metrics to support staffing needs.
- Budget and Contract Management: Assist with budgetary reporting, contract management, and administrative tasks, providing support to key stakeholders.
- Communication and Transparency: Collaborate in maintaining communications platforms, dashboards, and metrics, supporting organisational transparency and consistency.
- Team Site Maintenance: Uphold the structure and organisation of IT Business Operations team sites.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Support the IT Business Operations Manager in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Education: BA/BS in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in Business Operations.
- Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital tools, particularly MS Office and SharePoint.
- Self-Motivation and Problem-Solving: A good degree of independence, sound judgment, and basic problem-solving skills.
- Task Ownership: Comfortable taking the lead on tasks and projects, and acting as a primary contact point.
- Collaboration: Able to work independently and thrive in collaborative team environments.
