Job Title: AML Operations Team Leader/TA

Job Summary:
This leadership role is within the Investor AML Operations team, focusing on driving process improvements, coordinating across various teams and functions, and supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Management. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the business's Transfer Agency, Client Services Departments, and others, to ensure a robust AML service for the business's client and investor base.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AML operations, a continuous improvement mindset, and effective communication skills to influence and collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Identify problem areas using data analysis. Propose and implement solutions to improve process efficiencies.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal partners across the business, particularly the Transfer Agency and Client Services.
- Audit & Compliance: Ensure that the Investor AML team complies with audit, risk, and compliance standards, working closely with management.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations and best practices to promote enhancements to the business's AML processes.
- Management Information (MI) Reporting: Construct and deliver scheduled and ad-hoc MI for management, including oversight of outsourced locations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Audit, Risk, Control, or Compliance teams to ensure smooth reviews and audits within the AML team.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Support AML Management with various projects and tasks as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in AML operations is essential.
- AML Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the AML regulatory environment in Ireland; familiarity with Luxembourg and UK AML regulations is advantageous.
- Transfer Agency Knowledge: Experience or knowledge of Transfer Agency operations and the broader funds administration industry.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify problem areas, and develop effective solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to manage risk effectively.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proven track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present ideas and solutions confidently, including to senior management.
