A well-established firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors based in Central London are seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns for a diverse client base.
- Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax-efficient strategies tailored to clients' specific circumstances.
- Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs on behalf of clients, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with audit and accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery and identify tax planning opportunities.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and colleagues.
- Support senior management in business development activities, including attending client meetings and contributing to proposals.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory within a professional services firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
