As a Social Operations Program Manager, you will work independently to manage sub-tasks under the scope of a larger project with direct guidance from managers or senior team members. Your daily role involves overseeing our support presence on key social media platforms, developing expansion strategies into new social media platforms such as Discord, identifying emerging trends, and improving the processes that enable our social media support operations. You possess a strong understanding of the social media landscape, project management, and support operations to be successful in the role.
3-5 years of experience in social media management, community management, or a related field.
Proven experience in launching or scaling social media operations or programs.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Develop and execute strategies to improve or expand our social support operations on platforms like X, Reddit, and Discord.
Collaborate with technical, product, and operations stakeholders to align on a shared roadmap and drive projects to completion.
Identify and analyze emerging trends and user conversations in the social media landscape to inform our strategies by using enterprise-level social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Khoros, Brandwatch) or external research.
Oversee the day-to-day management of our support operations on social media, ensuring a high quality of service.
Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for our social operations strategy and processes.
Proficiency in the social media landscape (particularly X, Reddit, and Discord), with proven experience in identifying emerging trends and launching or scaling operations.
Developing proficiency in social CRMs and enterprise-level social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Khoros, Brandwatch).
Proficiency in project and stakeholder management, with experience aligning technical, product, and business stakeholders on a shared roadmap.
Proficiency in Support Operations.
Proficiency in Problem-solving.
