HR Manager
About the job
We're partnering with a leading provider of medical devices undergoing significant growth across Ireland. With multiple Irish locations and continued expansion, the business is now seeking a hands-on, commercially minded HR Manager to take full ownership of the People agenda for the Republic of Ireland.
This is a rare chance to own the HR function for Ireland in a business that is scaling quickly. You'll influence leadership, help build structure where it's needed, and be part of a transformation journey as the company strengthens its HR capability. Perfect for a driven HR professional ready to step up and make a meaningful impact.
As the HR Manager for Ireland, you will be the key HR presence on the ground, supporting a multi‑site workforce and working closely with senior leadership. You'll bring consistency across Irish entities, support the rollout of shared services, and build strong relationships with leaders who are still developing their people‑management confidence.
This role requires someone who is practical, solutions‑focused and comfortable rolling up their sleeves.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR agenda for all ROI employees (c.100).
- Provide end‑to‑end HR support including leadership development, absence management, performance, onboarding and coaching.
- Build and standardise HR processes across multiple Irish sites.
- Partner closely with the COO on group‑wide people initiatives.
- Support leadership capability and guideline managers through people matters.
- Contribute to cultural development and improved people practices.
- Work in a highly mobile environment - visiting sites across Navan, Kells, Wicklow and Dublin.
Requirements:
- An experienced HR Generalist or HRBP with approx. 3-5 years strong, hands‑on experience.
- Comfortable working in a standalone role, managing everything from day‑to‑day issues to more strategic work.
- Practical, commercial and straight‑talking, someone who finds solutions rather than quoting policy.
- Experienced in a regulated or technical environment (medical devices, pharma, engineering or manufacturing a strong plus).
- Resilient and willing to "roll up their sleeves" in a business that is evolving its HR maturity.
