My client is seeking to hire a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their fast growing team based in Co. Meath.The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse, overseeing team members, managing inventory, and maintaining high levels of efficiency. You will lead by example and ensure health & safety standards are adhered to while striving for continuous improvement in all areas of warehouse management.
This is a full time permanent position and it is a Monday to Friday days role.
Salary €40000 - €50000 DOE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and safe task completion.
- Forklift Operations: Operate forklifts and manage material-handling equipment while ensuring safety compliance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock accuracy, manage inventory systems, and address discrepancies.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline workflows and monitor KPIs to meet operational targets.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety protocols and conduct regular safety checks.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, organization, and ensure proper functioning of warehouse equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot logistics and operational issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with leadership responsibilities.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a mindset for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards and best practices in warehouse environments.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, WMS software).
