Assistant Finance Manager

Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties, is proud to partner with a leading business based in Northamptonshire, looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team on a temporary - permanent basis.

In this role, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the accurate management of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the Finance Manager in preparing and overseeing financial records

· Support daily financial operations, including transaction processing and account reconciliations

· Contribute to monthly forecasting and budget preparation

· Aid in the creation of financial reports while ensuring the accuracy of financial records

· Support the month-end and year-end financial closing procedures

What You'll Need to Succeed:

· Qualified By Experience, Qualified, or Currently Studying in Accounting or Finance

· Previous experience in an accounting or finance position

· Extensive month-end closing experience

· High attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage and reconcile accounts

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

· Proficient in Excel with advanced skills

Salary:

£40,000 per annum

This is a full time role, based in the office, which office hours of 08.00am - 4.00pm
