Key Responsibilities:
- Security Assessments: Conduct regular security testing, including code reviews and penetration tests, to identify and mitigate application vulnerabilities.
- Secure Development: Collaborate with development teams to integrate secure coding practices and security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Vulnerability Management: Identify, track, and manage application vulnerabilities, ensuring timely remediation.
- Security Architecture: Provide expertise in secure application design, including threat modeling and architecture reviews.
- Incident Response: Assist in investigating and resolving application security incidents, implementing long-term fixes.
- Tooling and Automation: Implement and maintain security tools, automating security testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct security training for developers, promoting a culture of security.
- Compliance: Ensure applications meet relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Research: Stay updated on the latest application security trends and tools to continuously improve security practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Application Security Engineering
- Experience in penetration test/red teaming and vulnerability management
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin speaking stakeholder
