Environmental Health Safety Lead

EHS Management:

• Lead and develop the EHS team across both sites.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety legislation and planning.
• Management of ISO standards
• Develop a risk management program and support business continuity planning
• Develop environmental health and safety communications and campaigns
• Develop High risk work and ATEX controls
• Support project and maintenance Shutdowns to ensure compliance
• Support the accident/Incident investigation process to ensure that root cause can be implemented, and robust corrective actions are completed
• Coordinate all safety/compliance reporting both internally and externally
• Co-ordinate the bi-annual Assurance Mapping process with the Coillte Group.
• Manage, co-ordinate and communicate all aspects of the company's Integrated
• Management System (IMS).
• Manage the Governance of both the internal and external audit program
• Leadership & Coaching:
• Mentor and develop EHS teams
• Promote best practice in Risk & Compliance.
• Nurture the culture of continuous improvement & "no blame".
