Based in Tokyo, you'll work closely with the Head of Practice to expand a newly founded tech division, launched in 2024. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape digital transformation for Japan's top enterprises, backed by significant global investment and an international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to build and scale the technology consulting team in Japan
- Manage and grow a multi-million-dollar portfolio across industries
- Lead delivery and client engagement for enterprise-wide tech transformations
- Build and maintain CxO-level relationships with key decision-makers
- Provide subject matter expertise across a range of technologies and digital strategies
- Contribute to sales growth, talent development, and market positioning of the practice
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 15+ years in strategy consulting or digital transformation leadership
- Executive-level experience at a major global consulting firm
- Proven success in leading large-scale technology initiatives across industries
Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge across multiple tech domains such as cloud, AI, ERP, cybersecurity, and digital platforms
Soft Skills:
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-trust executive environment
- Strong team leadership, business development, and client advisory capabilities
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Business-level proficiency
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Track record of building new consulting practices or business units
- Experience managing cross-border project teams and client portfolios
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders and external clients at the executive level
