A leading tax-free retail chain operator is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer to support the CEO in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operational performance, and leading cross-functional projects to achieve company goals.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, helping shape and implement high-impact business plans.
- Serve as a bridge between executive management and departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Oversee key projects from start to finish, coordinating resources, tracking milestones, and managing timelines.
- Organize and prioritize the CEO's schedule to maximize productivity.
- Identify operational improvements and implement solutions to enhance overall business efficiency.
Required skills
- 7+ years in strategic or managerial roles, ideally within consulting, corporate strategy, or similar fields.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and strategic projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Organized and detail-oriented, skilled at managing multiple tasks with a focus on results.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency and business-level English, with an understanding of multicultural dynamics.
