About the job
Join a leading foreign-affiliated global consulting firm as a Cross-Industry Sales Director, driving business growth across AI, DX, BPR, and BPO consulting services in Japan. Working closely with the CEO and senior sales leadership, you will develop executive-level client relationships and lead complex transformation deals across multiple industries. This is a senior commercial role focused on strategic account development, revenue growth, and market expansion rather than delivery execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key enterprise clients across industries including automotive, manufacturing, retail, life sciences, supply chain, TMT, and financial services.
- Propose end-to-end consulting solutions covering business transformation, DX, AI, process improvement, and outsourcing.
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration through both direct and indirect sales channels.
- Improve sales productivity by enhancing pipeline quality, win rates, and overall business development efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, sales executives, and Client Sales Leads to maximize account value and growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience proposing consulting services related to BPR, transformation, DX, AI, or BPO.
- Proven track record identifying client challenges and delivering transformation-focused consulting solutions.
- Strong industry expertise across two or more sectors.
- Experience building relationships with department heads and CxO-level stakeholders.
Soft Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and global teams.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Fluent
