A leading Japan-based tech company is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support analytics implementation and data validation across large-scale web platforms. You'll help ensure the quality and accuracy of behavioral data, troubleshoot tracking issues, and produce actionable reports that drive data-informed decisions across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries related to the structure and specifications of user behavior logs
• Troubleshoot data and tagging issues and create reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with data pipeline and engineering teams to align analysis requirements
• Provide guidance for implementing analytics tags on websites and apps
• Verify and support troubleshooting of analytics tag implementations

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with data platforms or analytics systems
• Experience using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
• Proficiency in SQL or Python (e.g., Jupyter Notebook) for log and behavioral data analysis
• Basic understanding of computer science concepts such as Shell scripting, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL

Soft Skills:

• Clear communication skills to collaborate with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting capabilities

Language Requirements

• Japanese: Fluent
• English: Business level

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with analytics tag implementation in HTML or mobile apps
• Knowledge of ETL architecture and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataform)
• Experience writing advanced SQL queries with CTEs and analytical functions
