Haken Technical Project Manager Tokyo Generative AI

Join a global technology leader as a Technical Project Manager, leading the rollout of a cutting-edge Generative AI and contact center transformation platform across 70 business units.

This role focuses on scaling an LLM-powered agentic AI stack that modernizes customer engagement across one of Japan's largest digital ecosystems. You will work at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and enterprise transformation, driving high-impact projects with global visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope and build integrated roadmaps covering milestones, resources, and risk mitigation
• Facilitate alignment between engineering and business stakeholders on technical decisions and priorities
• Lead full SDLC delivery from requirements gathering through post-launch stabilization
• Coordinate across vendors, cross-functional teams, and executive stakeholders
• Ensure governance around code reviews, automated testing, QA, and release quality
• Manage security, compliance, and legal approval processes throughout delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• Experience in technical project management or software delivery for complex systems
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, or conversational AI platforms
• Proven Agile delivery experience using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence

Soft Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building ability
• Critical thinking with a product-focused mindset
• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive decision-making
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Language Requirements:

• English: Fluent
• Japanese: Intermediate/Business level

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in contact center technologies, CPaaS, or omnichannel systems
• Technical background in software engineering or architecture
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or related project management certifications
