    This role acts as a technical bridge between engineering teams and clients, ensuring smooth implementation and ongoing operation of mission-critical payment systems. You will work on cutting-edge technologies in a fast-growing, international environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support application implementation and ongoing system operations in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
    • Translate solution designs into practical system configurations during implementation.
    • Provide post-go-live support including incident management and system updates.
    • Investigate, prioritize, and resolve technical issues in critical systems.
    • Communicate with stakeholders on issue progress and resolution timelines.
    • Execute SQL/NoSQL queries and API testing for troubleshooting and validation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
    • Support deployment activities and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
    • Drive process improvement, automation, and service quality enhancements.
    • Provide guidance and training as a subject matter expert.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience supporting Java-based applications in production environments.
    • 5+ years of experience in financial services or related industries.
    • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role.
    • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and query writing.
    • Experience with REST API testing (e.g., Postman).
    • Experience with incident management and issue resolution processes.
    • Experience working in cross-functional technical environments.
    Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking ability.
    • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently with ownership and accountability.
    • Strong customer-focused mindset and relationship-building skills.
    Language Requirements:
    • Japanese: Fluent level
    • English: Business level

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with payment systems or card processing platforms
    • Knowledge of PCI DSS or industry compliance standards
    • Experience with enterprise-scale or mission-critical systems
    • Experience supporting high-availability platforms
