Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead data migration projects from planning through execution
- Collaborate with clients to define data requirements and project milestones
- Develop and run SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Analyze and ensure data quality throughout the migration lifecycle
- Design efficient migration strategies to minimize downtime and maximize accuracy
- Provide technical leadership on best practices for data handling
- Coordinate with project managers to align migration goals with timelines
- Validate post-migration data integrity to meet client expectations
- Resolve migration issues and provide ongoing support after project completion
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data migration and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PowerBI
- Strong understanding of data transformation, mapping, and loading methodologies
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent or Native (required for client communication)
