About the role
You will play a viral role in driving sales growth, enhancing distribution strategies, and building strong relationships with channel partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage strategies for the assigned channels to maximize sales performance and growth.
- Identify growth opportunities within the distribution channels, setting sales targets and KPIs to drive performance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with partners to enhance collaboration and support.
- Provide training and support to channel partners, ensuring they are well-equipped with product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to inform channel strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to ensure alignment with distribution strategies.
- Regularly review sales performance metrics, preparing reports and presentations for senior management.
- Provide guidance and support to subordinates to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in sales management within the insurance industry, preferably with team management experience
- Proven track record of managing distribution channels, particularly IFA and brokerage.
- Knowledge of insurance and investment products with relevant license.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese
