A capital management firm is looking for a L1 support engineer. You will be responsible for desktop support and hardware management. Suitable candidate will be offered a 12-month renewable contract with competitive salary.
Job description:
- Directly reporting to the SVP of Technology services team
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues via phone, email, ticketing system and inperson
- Deploy & Install hardware, peripherals, cabling and accessories including but not limited to workstations, laptops, AV & infrastructure equipment
- Handle escalations from Level 1 support and provide technical assistance to customers and end-users
- Technical support for Network, conferencing systems, AD, RMA hardware, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
(and/or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of working experience in desktop support
- Strong technical skills including hardware, software, netowrk systems, operating systems, Intune, SCCM, VPN, citrix remote access, etc.
- Must be able to lift desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT-related equipment
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge on Asian language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) would be a plus
