We are seeking an experienced Change Lead with a strong background in higher education to support a major cultural and behavioural transformation program at one of Australia's leading universities. This initiative is designed to embed new ways of working, strengthen organisational values, and create a more inclusive, collaborative, and future-ready institution.
Lead the design and delivery of change strategies to support cultural and behavioural transformation across the university.
Partner with senior leaders and professional staff to drive awareness, buy-in, and sustained adoption of new behaviours.
Conduct stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and readiness planning across faculties and business units.
Develop and implement targeted communication, engagement, and capability uplift initiatives aligned with institutional values and program outcomes.
Monitor change effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements to support long-term cultural change.
Proven experience as a Change Lead or Senior Change Manager on complex people and culture initiatives.
Demonstrated success leading change within a higher education setting - strong understanding of academic environments, governance, and operating models.
Expertise in organisational culture, behaviour change, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
Ability to influence, challenge, and coach senior leaders.
Relevant qualifications in change management (e.g., PROSCI, IAP2) or organisational psychology highly desirable.
