AS400 Specialist - 12 months renewable contract

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Operations team in supporting business-as-usual activities, addressing issues, and executing maintenance tasks.

• Oversee team performance by conducting regular evaluations and managing the escalation process for any personnel concerns or exceptional performance.

• Coordinate with vendors for sourcing IT products, ensuring competitive pricing and assessing their capabilities.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize procurement processes and enhance resource availability.

Skills Reqd

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or possesses equivalent education and experience.

• min 4-5 years of experience in AS400 administration and data center operations.

• Provides support for users at various levels and is skilled in IT systems design, implementation, and application support.

• Proficient in Chinese and English
