About the role
As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in conducting accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and assisting with month-end closing processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of accounts receivable entries with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare payment requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal protocols.
- Oversee daily payment and receipt requests from various stakeholders, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and the preparation of financial reports to support organizational objectives.
- Execute ad hoc tasks as assigned to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience.
- Experience with data entry and financial recordkeeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Open to learning, reliable, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
