KDB Developer, 12 months contract

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a large system for managing orders and trades in stocks, interest rates, and foreign exchange around the world.

• The system combines traditional KDB technology with modern data tools like Kafka and Snowflake.

• Our team is made up of diverse data experts with experience in various big data technologies. While KDB is important to our work, we strive to create the best solutions using the right tools for each task.

• The platform supports many businesses and can handle billions of orders every day. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with KDB and other data processing technologies.

Skills Reqd

• Improve the current KDB+ system to support queries from Q and other programming languages like Java, C#, and Python. We want to make the database fast, reliable, and able to handle a lot of data quickly.

• The goal is to provide easy access to various trading analytics, pricing, and market information, helping business units make better decisions.

• Build components that are modular and based on microservices.
• Proficient in English.
