IT PMO - Finance and Budget IT projects

Responsibilities

• Create a framework for managing the IT Change Investment Budget, including reporting on actuals, challenging forecasts, and monitoring financial risks and opportunities.

• Collaborate with Portfolio Leads to establish a unified and accurate representation of the financial performance of the IT Change Investment Budget.

• Deliver clear insights into the financial status of the IT Investment Portfolio to IT Leadership, suggesting risk mitigations and options for reinvesting budget surpluses while ensuring accountability among the Senior Leadership Team.

• Partner with the IT Business Management and Finance teams to enhance and automate financial processes, aiming to eliminate manual tasks, and provide independent financial assurance.

Skills reqd

• Bachelor Degree + qualifications in Finance or Accounting, such as CA, CPA, or CIMA.

• Possesses a strategic mindset that maintains focus on the overall vision while accurately grasping detailed information.

• Demonstrates strong collaboration skills, effectively balancing assertiveness with cooperation.

• Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across all organizational levels.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with added knowledge of Excel Macros and VBA; familiar with Finance systems (e.g., General Ledger) and their integration with modern tools like Apptio, Planview, Jira, PowerBI, and Tableau.
