Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations such as the PMDA Act when handling online or OTC medication sales.
- Provide accurate guidance on medication use through telephone consultations, assessing and documenting appropriate information.
- Respond to customer concerns regarding side effects and suggest proper aftercare or medical referrals.
- Manage product listing accuracy and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.
- Oversee safe shipping procedures for pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
- Support the implementation of hygiene and safety standards within the facility, collaborating with customer service teams.
- Promote a compliant, customer-first service culture aligned with team and company goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Valid Pharmacist license in Japan.
- Minimum 5 years in the medical/pharmaceutical industry (e.g., pharma company, hospital, dispensing pharmacy).
- At least 1 year of direct sales experience with OTC pharmaceuticals.
Technical Skills:
- Basic PC proficiency for online research and logging customer interaction details.
Soft Skills:
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Self-starter, team-oriented, agile, and adaptable.
- Committed to compliance, especially with PMDA regulations.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Conversational
