The Role:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team, covering Connaught and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role, providing service, maintenance, and commissioning of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Gas-Fired Heaters across various commercial and industrial sites, including hospitals, data centres, retail, and manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning - Ensure newly installed AHUs are calibrated and functioning correctly.
Service & Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on AHUs, including fans, coils, filters, motors, dampers, and controls.
Breakdowns & Call-outs - Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and air quality issues efficiently.
Technical Support - Provide guidance to clients and internal teams regarding system maintenance and performance improvements.
System Upgrades - Identify and recommend system modifications to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Safety & Compliance - Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards.
Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed service records and reports.
Client Interaction - Engage with commercial clients, offering expert advice on system performance and improvements.
Mentorship - Assist in training and mentoring apprentices.
The Person:
We welcome applications from candidates with the following background:
Fully qualified Electrician or Refrigeration Engineer (must hold one of these qualifications).
HVAC industry experience is desirable.
Gas heater experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
Certifications: F-Gas 2078/2079 or Level 6 Electrician.
Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification.
Full, valid driving licence.
Work Environment:
Work will take place in commercial and industrial settings.
Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting HVAC tools and parts.
