Overview:
Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, this role manages IT resource capacity as well as the Annual Project Portfolio. Based in Cork, in a hybrid capacity, this role ensures optimal allocation of technical resources to meet project/ programme demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a register of internal and external technical resources.
- Align resource capacity with project needs and address resourcing gaps.
- Re-plan demand based on updated supply and project priorities.
- Prepare resource supply/demand reports for management.
- Support the development and coordination of the Annual Project Portfolio.
- Facilitate Project Review Board meetings and provide portfolio updates.
- QA project deliverables and funding submissions.
- Update and improve project delivery processes and documentation.
- Oversee portfolio and financial reporting.
- Manage smaller IT/Business projects as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
Required Experience:
- Relevant degree with 5+ years in IT roles, including 3+ in technical delivery.
- Portfolio and resource management experience (internal and third-party).
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) preferred.
This is a permanent role based in Cork with a hybrid working offering.
