Maintenance Operator - Manufacturing Industry

We are seeking a Maintenance Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Conduct routine maintenance inspections, reporting any unusual machinery behaviour.
🔹 Perform minor repairs and support in resolving major breakdowns.
🔹 Communicate with engineering and production teams during downtime.
🔹 Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimise machine failures.
🔹 Maintain and update critical spare parts inventory.
🔹 Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
🔹 Support and train production floor staff on machinery changes.
🔹 Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
🔹 Issue permits and site inductions for contractors.

Ideal Candidate:

✅ Strong mechanical or electrical background in a manufacturing setting.
✅ Experience with fault-finding techniques and troubleshooting.
✅ Familiarity with site facilities and production processes.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
