    Materials Program Manager

    About the Role:
    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials Program Manager to take responsibility for the management and procurement of materials from our approved contract manufacturing partners. This is a pivotal role that ensures supply chain efficiency, vendor performance, and delivery accuracy to meet customer requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Issue monthly forecasts, including End-of-Life and Not-In-New-Approach products, and manage execution with contract manufacturers in a timely manner.

    • Schedule material requirements with contract manufacturers to align with demand.

    • Oversee the timely execution of material expedite requests with contract manufacturing partners.

    • Maintain supplier commitment accuracy within the enterprise resource planning system.

    • Provide reliable and achievable delivery schedules to customers and ensure these commitments are met.

    • Participate in quarterly business reviews to assess quality, delivery, and cost performance of suppliers.

    • Report quarterly on contract manufacturer excess and obsolete inventory.

    • Conduct weekly analysis of shipment dates versus customer requested dates to assess service performance.

    • Manage several key performance indicators, including:

      • Invoice issue log

      • Receiving issues log

      • Material review board activity

      • Tracking of engineering change orders and product change orders issued to contract manufacturers

      • Accounts payable and accounts receivable activities with contract manufacturers

      • Sale of inventory tracking

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar materials or supply chain role.

    • Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data to support decision-making.

    • Experience managing supplier relationships to meet dynamic requirements.

    • Strong ability to drive scheduling changes and influence supply chain activities.

    • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems (SAP experience is advantageous).

    • Ability to interpret engineering change orders, bills of materials, and process flows.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

    • Strong data entry and analysis capabilities.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Able to work effectively both independently and within a team-based environment.
