Director of Supply Chain
Reports To: Managing Director
Summary: Lead supply chain and logistics operations to drive efficiency, profitability, and strategic growth. Manage a team of six and oversee supplier relations, inventory optimization, and new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities:
Align supply chain functions with strategic company goals.
Oversee logistics, procurement, and sourcing activities.
Negotiate supply contracts and product deals with suppliers.
Optimize inventory levels to balance service and capital needs.
Resolve supply issues and enhance systems with stakeholders.
Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) reviews.
Collaborate with internal teams to maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field; 5-10 years of progressive experience.
- Leadership and project management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP, data analysis tools, and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
Environment: Office-based, primarily sedentary work with a focus on computer-based tasks.
