Our client, a leading energy infrastructure company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Payments and Bank Reconciliation Administrator to join their finance team on a temporary 8-month contract basis. As a Payments and Bank Reconciliation Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the bank reconciliation process to ensure all bank accounts are reconciled to agreed timelines
- Processing a variety of payments, including payroll, supplier payments, and ad-hoc payments
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and reconciliation issues
- Identifying and posting monthly journal entries
- Supporting month-end reporting activities
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies
Key Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in bank reconciliations and payment processing.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft and Excel
- Working knowledge of Oracle is a distinct advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
