P2P Payments & Treasury Analyst
Location: Cork, Ireland Contract: 9 month temporary
Our client, a leading global organisation, is looking for an experienced P2P Payments Analyst to join their team for a period of 9 months. In this temporary role, you will act as a technical specialist focusing on treasury and payment operations. You will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, resolving complex payment discrepancies, and maintaining seamless communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee end-to-end treasury and payment processes within a busy multinational environment
- Lead the research and troubleshooting of complex payment queries, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved swiftly and accurately.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries, providing rational and empathetic support through active listening and clear communication.
- Utilise advanced data tools to perform deep-dive analysis on payment trends and functional performance.
- Handle a diverse workload under tight deadlines, ensuring all tasks are prioritised effectively without compromising on service standards.
- Assist in maintaining robust financial controls and adhering to accounting principles to mitigate risk within the P2P function.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within a P2P function, specifically focused on Treasury and Payments, ideally within a Multinational Business
- A recognised degree or professional qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related finance discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with a strong ability to manage and analyse complex datasets.
- Previous exposure to SAP, bank portals, and formal compliance/audit frameworks is essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across different levels of the business.
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in a second European language would be considered a significant plus.
