Role: Business Application Support Administrator
Location: Dublin city centre, Ireland
Contract Type: 12-month fixed term, with potential for review and extension

Role Overview
In this role, reporting to the Senior Application Support Team Lead, you will serve as a primary contact for internal and external clients, managing support requests and resolving application-related issues. You'll provide troubleshooting support and ensure timely escalation of issues, contributing to seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for user and client queries, managing the lifecycle of issues and requests from initiation to resolution.
- Troubleshoot and escalate requests as needed, collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external vendors.
- Log and monitor all requests via helpdesk software, prioritising urgent queries to meet established SLAs.
- Provide status updates to relevant parties and management, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Propose and assist in implementing process and technology improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Manage user access and security requests according to best practices.
- Support new application changes and developments as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (3+ years) in a related support role.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in supporting technical issues.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Desirable Qualifications
- ITIL certification in IT Service Management (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Project management skills, especially in application development support.
- Experience with Document Management Systems (DMS) and Tableau.
