Morgan McKinley has partnered with Ireland's largest independent Hospital Group as the look to hire an IT Systems Administrator.
This clients Health System is a not-for-profit organisation and its mission is centred on providing compassionate, world-class medical treatment to all those it serves.
In this role you will report to the Head of ICT operations and you will work cloesley with their local IT team based in Dublin. You will be are responsible for the management, administration and support of all IT systems and applications.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Act as first/second level support for the Dublin based offices.
- Ensure that the daily ticket queues are monitored and managed effectively to resolve all recorded issues in a timely manner.
- Develop a full knowledge of all Hospital Information Systems.
- Responsible for the procurement, logistics & asset management of IT hardware as required.
- Responsible for maintaining and support of telecommunications in meeting rooms. (Teams/Zoom Room).
- Apply security access for new and existing users on domain and systems as required.
- Build, troubleshoot and configure IT devices as required, following the procedure outlined along with daily PC Tech duties.
- Carry out standard system tasks such as backups, data recovery and user admin (AD, O365 administration, new user setup).
- Liaise with Clinical Users/IT Technical & third-party vendors as required.
- Participate in the Group 24 hours I&T support scheme rota.
- Assist in emergency/scheduled work that occur outside of normal working hours - (Rare).
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Foundation IT certification with specific relevant technical certifications or Degree / Diploma in relevant field of computer science or Technical certifications: MS Cert or CompTIA, ITIL or similar.
- 3 years' experience as a Desktop support engineer (L2)
- IT security knowledge and best practices
- Desktop OS Support
- Desktop build
- Active Directory and O365 admin
- LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi Troubleshooting
- Service Now and any other IT management Software.
- End-point patching.
- Documentation - SOPs etc.
